Happy New Year!!

I hope everyone had a fantastic New Year, Danny and I decided to have a quiet night in tuning in to Jools Holland and watching the Fireworks from our window. We are lucky enough to live at the top of a hill and we have a marvellous view…

We were up and about early on New Years Day, taking the boys for a long walk down by the river…Rolley was kept on his long extending lead as there were sheep in a neighbouring field…and he had us laughing by going round trees and getting himself tied up…Funny boy.

Back at home we had a fantastic day with lots of amazing food and lots of Mulled wine, that we had keeping warm in the slow cooker, this had the added effect of making the house smell really welcoming.

Danny did an amazing salad with a warm dressing!

The Game pie was a big hit

Mulled wine mmmmmm

New Years Eve 2012

Well here we are at the end of 2012… and looking forward to a brand New Year.
Has anyone made any resolutions? I seem to have made a lot this year, and a few of them revolve around learning new skills. Iv always wanted to run..so that one is at the top of my list.

Im planning on starting first thing Wednesday morning, so il let you know how I get on.

This morning however started with a lemsip for breakfast…Im full of cold and needed something to ease the pain!003

The boys had a little treat this morning…Our friendly manager from our local Pret had saved them a sandwich each..They both polished them off very quickly.
